GOYA — (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) is open to all teens, ages 13-18 (Grades 7-12). The purpose of the GOYA program is to provide an opportunity for our youth to experience the four circles (worship, service, fellowship, and witness) of our Holy Orthodox Faith. The Church is committed to providing our youth with opportunities to grow and mature in their Orthodox Faith and also roles of leadership within the Holy Cross Community. GOYA Officers are elected each year by their peers and they plan the activities and service projects with the help of an advisor. Holy Cross has been blessed for the last 33 years to have Denise Melis as our GOYA Advisor. Basketball coaches, chaperones, and parents are also critical to the functioning and mentoring of our GOYA.
