For those who are not Orthodox Christians but are interested in becoming a member of
the Church, or for those who are Orthodox already but desire to learn more about their faith,
Holy Cross offers a catechism class every other Thursday at 7 PM with both virtual and in-
person options. It should be noted that during Great Lent and the Advent period, classes will
meet weekly as opposed to bi-weekly. Topics range from the lives of the saints, to Church
traditions, to Bible study, all with the goal of growing our congregation into a deeper
understanding of what it means to be an Orthodox Christian. The class curriculum is flexible,
and is based week-to-week on where the members of the class are, and what they would like to
