Holy Cross Church is located in the heart of Mt. Lebanon, across from the Galleria. Atop its “holy hill,” the shining golden dome of our church is a beautiful sight, known to many in the area. However, what many don’t realize is that what is to be found inside the church is even more magnificent than what is on the outside: that is, a parish of over five hundred families united in their desire to love and serve the Lord as well as the community around us. We invite anyone interested in discovering the treasures of Orthodoxy to join us in any of our many active ministries and organizations.

Besides our weekly celebration of the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, we have a robust worship schedule, including services in both mornings and evenings. We also have various groups within the church geared towards every age group and demographic, including as First Steps (Preschool through Kindergarten), HOPE/JOY (1st-6th Grade), Greek Orthodox Youth of America (7th-12th grade), Young Adult League (ages 18-35), and Golden Club (ages 50 and older). We also have numerous causes devoted to service, such as our extensive work with the Neighborhood Resilience Project, our support of the IOCC (International Orthodox Christian Charities), or our chapter of the Ladies Philoptochos Society, devoted to providing philanthropic aid to various causes.

For those who are not Orthodox Christians, but would like to learn more, or for baptized Orthodox Christians trying to deepen their faith, we also offer numerous educational opportunities, including Bible studies, Catechism classes, and Sunday School for both children and adults. We have several devoted clergy members, led by Proistamenos Father Michael Kallaur, who are readily available to assist the needs of the parish. If you would like to become involved in Holy Cross, or would just like to learn more, please reach out to the parish office or check our website calendar for our schedules of services.
